In the face of the incredible expansion of its activities, the AREVA group must meet two essential human challenges: - hiring and integrating 12,000 new employees per year, including a large number of young people, and developing their talents- with the aging workforce, we will see an increase in the departure of critical talents and will be challenged with transferring that knowledge and critical skill base.At a time when AREVA is recruiting thousands of new employees each year, it has never been so critical for AREVA to support the knowledge transfer from the experienced employees to the new recruits by bridging the gap.
AREVA allows you to take an entrepreneurial approach to your professional development, and offers you the means you need to achieve your goals, develop your skills, and gain experience in your chosen career. We favour a positive environment that is motivating and produces high-level performance.Find out about the numerous training programmes introduced by AREVA for the benefit of its employees.
It’s very motivating to see that the work you perform on a day-to-day basis can directly influence important decisions. Another essential source of job satisfaction is the knowledge that AREVA has a plan for my personal development within the Group.
Knowledge of several languages is essential. I’m fluent in English, French and Arabic. This enables me to remain self-sufficient and close to clients in most of the countries where I work.
From a personal point of view, the projects I work on can be very fulfilling. For example, we supply African electricity network operators with the means to optimize their electricity distribution. In doing so, we play a part in improving people’s quality of life. I am particularly proud of this aspect of my job.
