- InternshipAREVA gives special importance to trainees, since students represent the future of the group. AREVA offers hundreds of placements in France each year. They provide an opportunity to find out about the group from the inside.A policy will soon be launched for international placements.
- Sandwich coursesAREVA is currently experiencing exceptional growth: it plans to hire over 40,000 people throughout the world by 2011. We wish to greatly develop sandwich courses in future. Sandwich courses would allow employees to alternate periods of study and work. They are an excellent way of training talented young people in our businesses, and therefore of preparing for the future. Like the 1,500 students who joined us on sandwich courses in 2008, consult our offers and apply online!
- VIE (International Corporate Voluntary Service)This approach allows French companies to further their international development, while offering young people the chance to gain rewarding experience abroad. Over 50 young people currently have VIE contracts with AREVA, mainly in the USA, China, Niger and Finland. The average duration of a VIE contract with AREVA is 16 months.
- Research contractBecause research is central to our development, AREVA offers research contracts (CIFRE etc.). It involves bringing together three partners who will work together on a research project, leading to an oral examination for a doctoral thesis: AREVA, a new graduate and a university laboratory.
The main aim was to work at this company. As an engineering student at Ensem, I was determined to work in the nuclear sector. My internship at AREVA was an ideal transition from school to work, and gave me a real boost that helped me find the job I was looking for.
